The Pitch

Artistic involvement runs throughout the design of Electric Wharf with an extravagant flourish in the external areas. At the main entrance, Esther Rolinson has created “trace elements”, a major artwork using LED lighting embedded in reclaimed railway sleepers, a theme which will be continued along the canal frontage in later phases. The original character of the buildings has been recorded by local photographer, Charlie Gallagher and embedded in the finished product through the use of reclaimed materials as integral parts of the scheme.
