Enterprising home-based businesses have just two weeks left to enter the first ever competition to find the UK’s most promising home business.

Enterprise Nation, the website for home businesses, is looking for promising and progressive businesses that stand out in the areas of lifestyle, business acumen and technology.

As well as the kudos of the award, the winning firm will enjoy an office makeover, free marketing materials and a year’s supply of coffee.

Emma Jones, Enterprise Nation founder, said the award was timely given home businesses now make up 59% of business start-ups.

"With the home now being the most popular start-up location in the UK, we thought it time to have an award dedicated to this fast growing group of business owners." Emma Jones said.
